Anti-Malware friendly signature
To help anti-malware vendors correctly identify and distinguish protected assemblies, we decided to include a watermark and a signature in each protected assembly.
This watermark will ease the distinction between licensed dotNet Protector users and possible malware developers using essentially the demo version.
While encouraging our users to sign their executables, we hope these measures will help avoiding false positives.
To accompany anti-malware vendors, we developed a document describing briefly this signature format and a standalone signature verification program (source code included).
